KAITLYN ARMSTRONG, MSW LCSWA

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) working to provide services to parents, teens, children, individuals, and families for almost 10 years. Much of my experience has come from working in local public schools and clinical case management within nonprofit agencies. I have my Masters in Social Work from San Diego State University and my undergraduate in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

As a clinician, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and accepting environment for my clients to utilize. While I believe everyone has the inner capacity to reach their goals and invoke the change they wish to see, I understand this is best accomplished through strong therapeutic relationship in which the client is able to explore change. While children may not be able to express these desires verbally as adults, I aim to provide a safe space in which they can express themselves in age appropriate ways, such as play, symbolism, and more to access their healing. I have worked with individuals and families who are or have experienced trauma, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties. I utilize a variety of approaches, including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma focused approaches. I see clients via telehealth and in person at our Concord Office.
