I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A20892). I have a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from Catawba College. I have over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents from a range of backgrounds and mental health needs such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. My background in schools provides me with an understanding of how to help clients identify and build on their strengths while overcoming obstacles.

Using a combination of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy, I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs. Through these techniques, I enjoy helping others develop emotional regulation, self-worth, and healthy social and community connections. I am excited to work with children (ages 5+), adolescents, teens, young adults and families. I admire the strength it takes to begin the counseling process and my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and work toward meaningful and lasting change. I see clients via telehealth and in-person at our Concord office.
