FAQ - WHAT TO EXPECT WITH COUNSELING
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE?
All sessions are approximately 55 minutes long.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST SESSION?
Prior to your first session you will be asked to fill out our new patient packet. At the first session the therapist will gather information and review your goals for counseling.
FEES & PRICING?
SELF PAY RATE:
55 minute initial session $175
55 minute individual session $155
55 minute family or couples session $165
55 minute EMDR session $165

LATE CANCELLATION FEE/NO SHOW FEE:
Please give your therapist at least a 24 hour notice. Otherwise an $80 fee will apply and it is not processed through insurance.

OTHER FEES:
Paperwork fee (any letters/forms therapists are asked to write for client): $150 per letter
Court fees: $1500 per day

Insurances we are in network with: BCBS, BCBS of NC, Anthem, Carelon/Beacon, United Healthcare, Optum, Cigna, Aetna, CBHA, and Medcost. We will provide you with a super bill for out of network insurance reimbursement. We are out of network with TriCare and BCBS High Performance Network.​

WHO SHOULD COME TO THE FIRST SESSION?
With children and teens we need written consent to treat by both parents.
​
Marriage and family counseling can begin with all involved, but each individual will have some time to speak privately with the therapist (if needed).
WHEN IS THERAPY?
We offer therapy Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 8:30 pm. We are also available on Saturdays.
