I am a counselor in training and am pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling at Concordia University Irvine. My previous degrees and certifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fayetteville State University. Prior to my counseling studies, I served as a DivorceCare facilitator, a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, and have completed Level 1 Training in Gotman Method Couples Therapy.

As a counselor, I utilize a Psychodynamic approach as well as Strengths-Based, Existentialism, Family Systems, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems. Concerns that we may focus on may include relationship issues, life changes, career development, trauma and abuse, family conflict, and parenting. Being heard and understood can be incredibly healing. My goal is to establish a deeply supportive environment that places you at the center, allowing you to enhance your self-awareness and resolve conflicts. Together, we'll set achievable goals to enhance your quality of life and navigate through crises, all while validating your unique experiences.
