MELISSA GALLIMORE, MSW LCSWS
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina and have worked with over 20 years of experience working with children, adults, couples, and families. My extensive background spans various settings, including early childhood development, residential and outpatient treatment, and the public-school system.
I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a therapist, my professional approach center on joining clients in their journey to overcome life’s obstacles. I believe in meeting clients where they are in the moment and fostering a positive, trusting, client-therapist relationship to support optimal personal growth, self-love, and the ability to thrive.

My practice is eclectic, utilizing solution-focused therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and reality therapy all within a systems approach framework. Additionally, I am a strong advocate for incorporating physical activity to support healthy social and emotional well-being.
