Crystal Salazar

MSW, LCSWS

Virtual, Harrisburg

I earned my master’s degree from Winthrop University and have experience working with children and their families in various settings. Through this work, I have had the opportunity to support children and families as they navigate big emotions, life transitions, behavioral challenges, relationship concerns, and the many changes that can come with growing and learning.

I believe that therapy begins with feeling safe, heard, and truly understood. As a compassionate, client-centered therapist, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where children and adolescents can feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about what they are experiencing.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to meet each client where they are and build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and genuine connection. I believe that every person has unique strengths and experiences, and therapy should be tailored to the individual.

When working with children and adolescents, I focus on creating an environment where they feel comfortable, valued, and understood. I believe that supporting parents and caregivers is an important part of helping the entire family grow and thrive. Together, we can work towards developing healthy coping skills, building confidence, strengthening relationships, and navigating life’s challenges with greater understanding and resilience.

Most importantly, I want my clients to know that they do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
