Warm greetings! I’m Germanee and thank you for considering me to be a part of your journey in therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bennett College and a Master’s in Social Work from the joint program in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University- Aggie Pride! My approach to therapy treatment includes supporting individuals to address symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and other challenges along the way. I believe in creating a non-judgemental and brave space for clients to be themselves and create space for their healing journey.

In session, I will utilize a various blend of therapeutic modalities based on client’s needs. My areas of interest in therapeutic modalities include trauma-informed care including Internal Family Systems, Strengths-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Counseling and Play Therapy.  My goal is to allow clients the driver’s seat in their own lives while giving the clients the tools to navigate their own healing journey.

While not in the office, you can often find me binge watching a good mystery or psychological thriller movie, writing poetry, or shopping. I appreciate you allowing me to become a part of your journey in therapy and look forward to connecting with you soon!
