Kina Marshall
Practicum Student

Virtual, Concord
My name is Kina Marshall, and I am a graduate student at Liberty University, currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As part of my training, I am honored to provide counseling services at Evolution Counseling Associates, where I am under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor.
My approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique story. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. These approaches allow me to meet clients where they are, help them explore their strengths, and empower them to work toward meaningful change.
I enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and personal growth. I am passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, supported, and encouraged.
Prior to pursuing a counseling degree, I have worked with children and families with complex medical issues, teens and families with severe trauma, and adults with emotional and relational difficulties.
