MA, LCMHCA
Virtual, South Charlotte
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University. My areas of practice include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, relationship issues, mood regulation, and adjustment difficulties in kids, teens, and adults. I have also received specific training in working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence and trauma. I am a culturally affirming clinician and will integrate your social identities, values, and experiences into the counseling process as you see fit.
As a therapist, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to process their specific needs and work towards healing. I recognize that everyone has a unique story and believe that all of our struggles are valid and understandable in the context of our own experiences. Because of that, I tailor my approach to the client by drawing on techniques from various approaches including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness.
Everyone is deserving of support, acceptance, and fulfillment in life. I look forward to joining you on your journey!
